7つのプロ野球球団を渡り歩き、落合、イチローをはじめ多くのタイトルホルダーを育てた打撃コーチ、高畠導宏。突然、球団から契約を打ち切られた後、30年のコーチ人生で培った優れたコーチング力で、悩める思春期の子どもたちと現場の教師たちを大きく変えていった。わずか1年でがんに倒れ、志半ばで逝去した新米教師「高さん」と、彼の思いを受け止め成長していく子どもたち・・・。感動の実話をドラマ化。主演は高橋克実。
