落ちこぼれ高校生・梶谷信介（カジシン）は、ある日退学処分を言い渡される。免れる方法として「キューブサット（小型人工衛星）」を設計する羽目になってしまったカジシンは、友達のゴタンダやドラゴンと共に優秀な人材・大先生を騙し協力を得る。しかし、その設計が賞を取ってしまった為、実物を制作することになる。カジシンは密かに想いを寄せる茉莉、寡黙なヤンキー翔さん、元旋盤工の祖父源蔵も巻き込みキューブサット作りに挑む青春群像ストーリー。
