Příběh čerstvé matky, brutálně vtipné životní smolařky Vendy Kollerové. Ta je pod tlakem okolností nucena nastěhovat se do domu svého dominantního otce Roberta Kollera. Její babička, čerstvá vdova Marta Kollerová, je všechno možné, jen ne smolař. Autoritativní významná psycholožka se po smrti manžela, dědy Berta, také rozhodne najít útočiště v domě svého poddajného syna Roberta. Ale nepřišla se přizpůsobit zaběhnutým pořádkům, přišla je přizpůsobit sobě. V domě brzy nezůstane kámen na kameni.
