في عمارة شعبية قديمة، لكل طابق فيها حكاية، يحاول طلحة، الشاب البسيط والمحبوب في الثلاثينيات من عمره، أن يعيش حياة هادئة. لكن يومياته تتحوّل باستمرار إلى مغامرات غير متوقعة. بين تدخلات والدته ماريا المحبّة لكنها المتطفّلة، وأفكار صديقه ياسين غير الموفّقة، ونصائح الجارة كنزة، وطاقة جمايكا حلاق الحيّ، وظهور محامي الحيّ الذي يزيد الأمور تعقيدًا في كل مرة، لا يعرف طلحة طعم الراحة.
