As the season draws to a close at the Gstaad Palace, the pressure peaks once more. After three intense months, the strain is clearly visible among the staff, and emotions run high. Executive chef Franz Faeh speaks openly about the exhausting demands of guests, while his sous-chef Michael Althaus looks forward to small freedoms returning with the off-season.
Event manager Lucy Fröhlich also reaches her limits when last-minute changes disrupt the seating plan ahead of the final gala dinner, forcing the team to improvise. For 19-year-old upholsterer Sandra Hirschi, however, work becomes easier once the guests leave, allowing more freedom of movement between seasons.
The fourth episode concludes with an exclusive revelation: hotel owner Andrea Scherz publicly shares, for the first time, how succession at the Gstaad Palace will be handled.
