The international tea market collapses, putting the factory in jeopardy again. I-hsin clashes with her father over his insistence on crafting an unprofitable Japanese competition tea. Mountain Girl and the tea master pour everything into the competition entry, but an accident at KK's fertilizer plant lands the tea master in the hospital. When the Korean War breaks out and American aid returns, I-hsin hatches a bold plan to sell tea at the US military club.
